What is NEET?

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) is India's single national entrance exam for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and BVSc admissions. Subject-Wise Strategy

Biology (90Q — 50% of NEET)

Biology is the most important subject. Top chapters: Molecular Basis of Inheritance (~15%, single highest-weightage chapter in all of NEET), Human Physiology (~20% of Zoology), Genetics, Ecology (~12%), Biotechnology (~11%), Reproduction (~11%). Strategy: Read NCERT Biology line-by-line. Every diagram and table is a potential NEET question. Practice 15–20 Biology MCQs daily.

Physics (45Q — 25% of NEET)

Top chapters: Modern Physics & Electronics (~18%), Mechanics (~20%), Electrodynamics (~14%), Optics (~8–10%). Focus on numericals and concept application. NCERT + NCERT Exemplar + PYQs is sufficient.

Chemistry (45Q — 25% of NEET)

Top chapters: Coordination Compounds (~9% of Inorganic — single most important chapter), Organic Chemistry (~33%), Thermodynamics (~8%), Equilibrium (~6%). Chemistry is the most score-boosting subject if studied systematically.
