The NEET cut off is the minimum score required to qualify for MBBS/BDS counselling. There are two types of cutoffs: the qualifying cutoff (just to pass NEET) and the admission cutoff (to get a seat in a specific college). This guide covers both.

How to Target a Specific Score?
Work backwards from your target college:
- Identify your dream college and look up its last 3 years of cutoffs
- Add 15–20 marks as buffer (cutoffs can rise)
- That is your target score. Build your study plan around hitting it consistently in mocks.
Example: Want MBBS in Bihar government college (General category, ~575 cutoff)? Target 590–600 in mocks. With 90 days of serious preparation, this is achievable.
